Landscape Photography

If you fancy a fun day out at Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Garden photographing unique viewpoints and vistas plus the historic ruins of the Abbey whilst learning new skills with your camera then this workshop is for you.

The photographic workshop will be tailored towards beginners and enthusiasts. We will look at the rules of composition (and how to break them!). You will learn about correct exposure, how to understand the direction and quality of light, how to adapt your compositions for changing light, plus depth of field techniques to make your images “pop”.

Val specialises in teaching in a fun, jargon free practical way. Val has been awarded the internationally respected Distinction Associate of the Royal Photography Society (ARPS) which recognises a high standard of both technical and creative skills in photography.
