Black & White Photography

If you fancy a fun day out at York Railway Station learning how to see and photograph in black and white, documenting the light, lines and texture of this beautiful Grade II listed building and capturing the expressions of the people pouring through the station, then this workshop is for you.

The photographic workshop will be tailored towards beginners and enthusiasts. We will look at how to make strong powerful images, using texture, contrast, light and leading lines to help guide the eye through your images

Val specialises in teaching in a fun, jargon free practical way. Val has been awarded the internationally respected Distinction Associate of the Royal Photography Society (ARPS) which recognises a high standard of both technical and creative skills in photography.
